The Commission is conducting Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-II), 2017 from 17.2.2018 to 22.2.2018 for 1,89,843 candidates across the country. Examinations would be conducted by the Commission as per schedule on the remaining five days of the examination i.e. from 18-FEB-2018 to 22-FEB-2018.

The Commission will upload the tentative answer keys for inviting challenges from the candidates on 18.9.2017.
Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 (Tier-I) was successfully conducted by the Commission w.e.f. 5.8.2017 to 24.8.2017. A total of 15,43,962 candidates appeared in this examination which was conducted in 43 Batches across the Country.
In partial modification to the earlier announced date(s) of the said examination from 1st August, 2017 to 20th August, 2017, the Commission would now be conducting the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 from 5th August, 2017 to 24th August, 2017.
Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 (Tier-I) from 01-August-2017 to 20-August-2017 for Group B and Group C Posts in Intelligence Bureau, Central Secretariat, Central Vigilance, CBEC, CBDT, Ministry of External Affairs/ Railways, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Central Bureau of Narcotics, CAG, Postal Department, and other various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations.

Education Qualification as on 1st August, 2017:
Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute OR Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters I Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level: OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
For All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before 1st August 2017. Application Fee: Online Mode Rs. 100/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee through State Bank of India only either in the form of challan, generated on line, or through SBI Net Banking. Payment can also be made through any Credit or Debit Card.
All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee.
SSC CGL Tier 1 – Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type) 2017
Total Marks – 200 [Quantitative Aptitude of 50 marks, General Awareness of 50 marks, General Intelligence and Reasoning of 50 marks, and English Comprehension of 50 marks] Duration: 02 hours
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
SSC is going to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination for Group B and Group C category of posts under various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations. This exam is conducted in various phases namely Tier 1 (Written Examination), and Tier 2 (Main Written Examination); and (Interview/ Personality Test/ Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification).
Tier 1 is common for all candidates opting for different posts. The application will remain provisional throughout the Tier-1 and Tier-1 examination, and will be final only upon the declaration of examination results by the SSC. For appointment preference for Ministry/ Department/ Office will be taken from the candidates qualified at the time of Interview/ Skill Test/ Typing Test.
