The Manufacturing units are in Maharashtra (at Thal – Dist. Raigad and at Trombay/ Chembur, Mumbai) with National level Marketing network.
Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCFL) recently has issued a recruitment notification for filling up 50 Posts of Operator Grade I (Chemical) under its operational jurisdiction.

- Operator Grade I (Chemical)- 50 Vacancies (SC-05, ST-04, OBC-13 and UR-24)
- Pay Scale: The Selected candidate will be appointed in A8 grade in pay scale of Rs. 26,000-80,000/-

Age Details –
- For Operator Grade I (Chemical) positions age of the candidate should not have crossed a maximum age of 36 years as on 31-May-2021. However, relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification –
- Operator Grade I (Chemical): The applicant should have B.SC Degree in Chemistry with Physics as one of the subjects along with a NCVT certificate of Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) i.e. AO (CP) Trade.
- The candidates should have secured minimum 55% marks in last year (or Average/ Aggregate of last two semesters) of B.Sc.(Chemistry) Degree Course (50% for SC/ST category candidates).
- The candidate must possess Seven years work experience preferably in Fertilizer or Chemical industry (Pesticides, Agro chemical, Chlor Alkali, Organic Chemical Manufacturing) having continuous process and performing the job in Process/Production Department.
OR
- The applicant must possess three years Diploma in (Chemical/Allied branches of Chemical) Engineering/ Technology and one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973). or The Candidates with HSC (Science) and direct admission to second year/ 3rd Semester of Three Years’ Diploma in (Chemical/Allied branches of Chemical) Engineering/Technology and one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment 1973).
- The candidates should have secured minimum 55% marks in last year (or Average/ Aggregate of last two semesters) of the Diploma Course (50% for SC/ST category candidates).
- The candidate must possess Seven years work experience preferably in Fertilizer or Chemical industry (Pesticides, Agro chemical, Chlor Alkali, Organic Chemical Manufacturing) having continuous process and performing the job in Process/Production Department.
OR
- The applicant must possess 4 years (Eight Semesters) or 3½ years (Seven Semesters) full time & regular Diploma in (Chemical/Allied branches of Chemical) Engineering/ Technology under Sandwich pattern. or The Candidates with HSC (Science) and direct admission to second year/ 3rd Semester of 4 years (Eight Semesters) or 3½ years (Seven Semesters) full time & regular Diploma in (Chemical/Allied branches of Chemical) Engineering/ Technology under Sandwich pattern.
- The candidates should have secured minimum 55% marks in last year (or Average/ Aggregate of last two semesters) of the Diploma Course (50% for SC/ST category candidates).
- The candidate must possess Seven years work experience preferably in Fertilizer or Chemical industry (Pesticides, Agro chemical, Chlor Alkali, Organic Chemical Manufacturing) having continuous process and performing the job in Process/Production Department.
Application Fee: Rs. 700/- plus Bank Charges and applicable taxes for General, OBC and EWS category candidates. SC/ST category candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Applicants are suggested to pay the application fee through online mode.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Trade Test consist of Practical Job Knowledge and handling of Technical equipment (80 Marks), Safety awareness and Computer Knowledge (20 Marks). The candidate has to secure minimum 60 marks (SC/ST candidates 55 marks) out of total 100 marks for qualifying Trade Test.
