As per notification from Postal Department, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India, invited online applications from meritorious sportspersons for recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Postman, Mail Guard, Postal Assistant, and Sorting Assistant.

Pay Scale: Level-1 for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Level-3 Rs. 21700 to Rs. 69100 for Postman and Mail Guard, and Level-4 Rs. 25,500 – Rs.81,100 for Postal Assistant, and Sorting Assistant.
Minimum Eligibility Norms: Educational Qualification
Multi Tasking Staff MTS: Candidates must have passed Matriculation/ 10th standard examination from recognised Board.
Postman / Mail Guard: Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 12th standard examination from recognised Board.
Knowledge of working on Computer.
Knowledge of local language of the concerned Postal Circle or Division.
Candidates should have a valid license to drive two wheeler or light motor vehicle. Persons with Benchmark Disability shall be exempted from the possession of such licence.
Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University. Knowledge of working on Computer.
Note: Candidates must have fulfilled minimum sports eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for said post(s).
Age Requirement: The candidates should be in the age group of 18-27 years (25 years for MTS) (by last date for receipt of online application form) to be eligible to apply. However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST and PWD candidates from Postal Circle State as per rules.
Application Fee: Rs.100/-
Applicants are suggested to pay the application fee online through UPI, Net Banking, Credit/ Debit Cards, etc. Women candidates, Transgender candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) are exempted from payment of fee.
