Odisha Mining Corporation OMC Limited invites applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of Non-Executive Positions on regular basis.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test followed by document verification.
Selected candidates will be appointed as Trainees for a period of one year from the date of joining. On successful completion of training period, candidates shall be confirmed and kept under probation for a period of one year the regular pay scale & other allowances.
Jr. Engineer (Mechanical) (Class- III Grade): 20 Vacancies; Pay Matrix level -9
Candidates must possess Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE recognized institute.
Jr. Engineer (Electrical) (Class- III Grade): 14 Vacancies; Pay Matrix level -9
Candidates must possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE recognized institute.
Jr. Engineer (Civil) (Class- III Grade): 16 Vacancies; Pay Matrix level -9
Candidates must possess Diploma in Civil Engineering from an AICTE recognized institute.
Jr. Nurse (Class- III Grade): 11 Vacancies; Pay Matrix level -8
Candidates must pass Intermediate/ 10+2 examination with Science subject from a recognised board. Candidates must also possess Diploma in Nursing from an institute recognized by Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha & approved by Odisha Nursing Council/ Indian Nursing Council.
Jr. Pharmacist (Class- III Grade): 09 Vacancies; Pay Matrix level -8
Candidates must pass Intermediate/ 10+2 examination with Science subject from a recognised board. Candidates must also possess Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized University/ Institute & approved by Indian Pharmacy Council.
Electrician III (Class- III Grade): 30 Vacancies; Pay Matrix level -5
Candidates must pass Matriculation/ 10th from a recognised board. Candidates must possess ITI in Electrician, lineman/ wireman Trade from recognized institute with valid workman permits “A” certificate issued by the
Competent Authority. OR
Candidates must pass Matriculation/ 10th from a recognised board. Candidates must possess ITI in Electrician, lineman/ wireman Trade from recognized institute with minimum Lineman- MV (with Learner Permit for
Workman- HT) issued by Electrical Licensing Board, Odisha (ELBO).
Age Limit- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 38 years as on 31-October-2023. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification–
Mining Mate III: Candidates must have passed HSC, and possess Mining Mate Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.
Foreman Mining: Candidates must possess Diploma in Mining with Foreman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS.
Surveyor: Candidates must possess Diploma in Mines Survey/ Mining Engineering from a AICTE recognized
Institute with Survey Certificate of Competency in Mining Survey from DGMS.
Blaster III: Candidates must have passed HSC, and possess Blaster’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS..
Age Limit- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 38 years as on 01-November-2023. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
