Naval Dockyard Mumbai invites application from eligible candidates for enrollment of Apprenticeship Training in various trades at Dockyard Apprentice School under Apprentice Act 1961 read in conjunction with Apprenticeship Rules 1992.

Commencement of Online Registration: 21 June 2022
Closure of Online Registration: 08 July 2022
Written Test will be held on: Candidates meeting the criteria of essential qualifications would be called for written examination scheduled to be held at Mumbai in 22 August 2022. The written examination of 2 hrs duration would comprise of 100 Multiple Choice Questions on General Science, General Knowledge and Mathematics.
Interview/ Skill Test will be held on: Candidates placed in the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in written examination, will be called for Interview/Skill Test in Dec, 2022/ Jan, 2023.

Age Limit: Candidates should be born on or after 01-August-2001, and on or before 31-October-2008. SC/ ST category candidates will get the five years of relaxation in upper age limit.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation/ 10th Standard with a minimum of 50% marks, and ITI Examination in relevant Trade with aggregate of 65% marks from any institute recognized by NCVT.
Stipend: Seventy percent of minimum wage of semi-skilled workers notified by the Maharashtra State During the first year of training; Eighty percent of minimum wage of semi-skilled workers notified by Maharashtra State During the second year of training.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on Preliminary selection (Based on Matriculation and ITI Examination Marks), Written Test, Interview/ Medical Examination.
