Mumbai Port Trust invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Graduate, Technician, and Trade Apprentices, for Apprenticeship Training in the year 2017-18, under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The applicant should NOT have completed three years after passing of minimum qualification examination as on 01-May-2018.
Graduate Apprentice: 05 Positions [02 Posts for Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, 03 Posts for Graduate in Electrical Engineering] Technician Apprentice: 06 Positions [03 Posts for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 03 Posts for Diploma in Electrical Engineering] Trade Apprentice: 139 Positions in Programming and System Administration Assistant (PASAA) Trade

Educational Qualification:
Graduate Apprentice: Candidates must possess Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University.
Technician Apprentice: Candidates must possess Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Technology from Board of Technical Education of a State.
Trade Apprentice: Candidates must have passed 10th standard (SSC) or equivalent; and have passed National Trade Certificate Examination in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) in I.T.I.
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 14 years of age or more than 21 years of age on 01-May-2018. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Stipend:
Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 4984/- per month
Technician Apprentice: Rs. 3542/- per month
Trade Apprentice: Rs. 8189/- per month
Application Fee: Rs. 20/- in shape of crossed Indian Postal Order payable at GPO Mumbai; or Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque/ Pay Order in favour of the Board of Trustees of the Port of Mumbai.
Alternatively, cost of application form can be paid by NEFT, however, the candidates will have to attach necessary receipt with the offline submitted form

How to Apply: Applicants are required to be registered online through NCVT MIS web portal (www.apprenticeship.gov.in). The applicants are required to print apprentice registration form and note down registration number.
Applicants are having valid registration in NCVT MIS portal (www.apprenticeship.gov.in) are required to download the application form from MbPT’s website ‘(www.mumbaiport.gov.in).
