Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Scientist-B Positions in various disciplines.
Scientist-B: 44 Vacancies
Discipline– Genetics, Chemistry, Pathology, Forest Ecology, Entomology, Environmental Science, Soil Science, Forestry, Information Technology, Wood Science and Technology, Cellulose and Paper, Botany, Biotechnology
Pay Scale: Level 10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination [100 Question, 400 Marks, 2 Hours Duration] to be held at Bengaluru (Karnataka), Coimbatore (Tamilnadu), Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Guwahati (Assam), Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), Jodhpur (Rajasthan), Ranchi (Jharkhand) and Shimla (Himachal Pradesh); followed by Personal Interview of 70 Marks.
Selected candidates will be posted at the Institutes/ Centres of the Council at Dehradun, Jabalpur, Jodhpur, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Jorhat, Shimla, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Prayagraj, Chhindwara, Agartala, Aizwal and Vishakapatnam.

Qualification: Candidates must possess first class master’s degree or B.E/ B.Tech from a recognised university. Candidates having M.Tech or Ph.D. in relevant subjects will be preferred.
Age Limit: The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years but not more than 35 years as on the closing date for application. The upper age limit is relaxable as per government rules.

Rs.1000/- for Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Divyang/Women candidates
Rs. 2,000/- for Unreserved (UR)/ EWS, and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates
