Candidates must possess B.Sc. in Agriculture from a recognized University. or B.Sc. with any of the following subject from a recognized University: Botany / Zoology / Bio-Technology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Food Science. or B. Candidates should have Proficiency in use of computers.
Junior Engineer Civil: 48 Vacancies; Pay Scale 34000 – 103400
Candidates must possess Degree in Civil Engineering; or Diploma in Civil Engineering with one year experience.
Junior Engineer Electrical / Mechanical: 15 Vacancies; Pay Scale 34000 – 103400
Candidates must possess Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering; or Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with one year experience.
Stenographer Grade II: 73 Vacancies; Pay Scale 30500 – 88100
Candidates must possess Graduate Degree and have speed of 40 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. in English typing and shorthand respectively.
Assistant Grade III Hindi: 93 Vacancies;Pay Scale 28200 – 79200
Candidates must possess Degree of a recognised University with Hindi as main subject. Proficiency in English specifically for the purpose of translation. Certificate/Diploma course in translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa of at least one year duration from a recognised University/Institution approved by Government.
The major work of Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) would be translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa, possession of Skill for Hindi Typing would also be required. To assess the same, Hindi Typing with speed of 30 words per minute will be tested during the period of probation. Confirmation of probation shall be subject to the candidate qualifying the prescribed Typing Test.
Age Limit As on 01-August-2022: 25 years for Stenographer, 27 years for Assistant Grade III (General/ Technical/ Accounts/ Depot), and 28 years for Assistant Grade III (Hindi) and Junior Engineer Posts. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per central government rules.
FCI Recruitment 2022-23 Application Fee: Rs. 500/- [06-September-2022, 10:00 Hrs (IST) to 05-October-2022, 16:00 Hrs (IST)]

FCI Recruitment 2022-23 Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of online test.
Phase-I Exam 100 Questions – 100 Marks [SYLLABUS- English Language, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Aptitude, General Studies & Current Affairs] – 60 Minutes Duration
Each question will carry equal 1 mark. For each wrong answer, there will be negative marking of 1/4 of the mark assigned to that question.
Phase-II Exam:
Paper I: 120 Multiple Choice Questions, Maximum 120 marks, 90 minutes duration [SYLLABUS– English Language, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Aptitude, General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs and Computer Awareness]
Paper II: 60 Multiple Choice Questions, Maximum 120 marks, 60 minutes duration

Soil Mechanics: void ratio, porosity, saturation, water content, specific gravity of soil grains and unit weights, grain size, Atterberg’s limits, soil classification, plasticity chart, permeability, consolidation of soils. Lab tests, moisture content, bearing capacity of soils, plate load test, standard penetration test etc.
Estimating, Costing and Valuation: Estimate, analysis of rates, earthwork, Brick , RCC work shuttering, Painting, Flooring, Plastering flexible pavements, Tube well, isolates and combined footings, Steel Truss, Piles etc.
Transportation Engineering: Types of pavements, pavement materials – aggregates and bitumen, Design of flexible and rigid pavements, bituminous construction, rigid pavement joint, pavement maintenance, Railway Engineering.
Environmental Engineering: Quality of water, purification, distribution, sanitation, sewerage and sewage treatments.

Junior Engineer, AG-III (Accounts), AG-III (Technical), AG-III (Hindi): Candidates will appear in Paper-I to be followed by Paper II. Paper I & Paper II shall be held in single sitting only.
AG-III (Depot), AG-III (General): Candidates will have to appear in Paper-I only.
Steno Grade- II: Candidates will have to appear in Paper-III. Thereafter the candidates will undergo a Skill-Test in typing and shorthand which will be of qualifying nature.
