CSIR- National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Lucknow invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of the posts of Technical Staff for technical assistance and support in research activities.

Technical Officer- 02 Vacancies [Area: Environmental Technologies], Pay Scale Rs. 44900-142400/-
Essential Educational Qualifications & Experience- Candidates must possess Master’s Degree in Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Studies/ Microbiology/ Environmental Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology with 55% marks; OR B. Tech. in Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering/ Industrial Microbiology with 55% marks.
Desirable Experience- Candidates possess two years research experience in handling and performing spectrometry/ chromatography/ spectroscopy for analytical/ bioanalytical work and having SCI publications. Good knowledge of ISO/IEC: 17025 -2017 or GLP practices.
Senior Technical Officer- 02 Vacancies [Area: Pharmacognosy], Pay Scale Rs. 56100-177500/-
Essential Educational Qualifications & Experience- Candidates must possess Master’s Degree in Botany/ Chemistry/ Microbiology with minimum of 55% marks OR B. Pharm with minimum of 55% marks, and two years working experience in the area of Pharmacognosy/ Chemotaxonomy/ Herbal drug development.
Desirable Experience- Candidates having experience of HPLC, HPTLC, UPLC, and GC-MS for bioprospection, Chemotaxonomy and herbal drug development as evident from SCI publications/ patents will be preferred.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (35 years for Senior Technical Officer)as on 23.07.2021. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
